About EarthWays

EarthWays aims to create learning spaces for us to transform our thought and action patterns in practice so that the human impact on the Earth goes from being predominantly destructive to being healing and regenerative. In this way, we want to contribute to bringing our way of life into conformity and harmony with the basic conditions for life on Earth. Read more about the association here.

Mission

We work to develop shared living, value and action patterns that, based on a regenerative and nature-based education, can create inspiration, hope and space for action.

Location

Himmelbjerggården is surrounded by forested hills, lakes and valleys in the middle of some of Denmark's most beautiful nature and with its 20 hectares of land constitutes EarthWay's physical anchoring point.

Who are we?

Our team

EarthWays is run on a daily basis by a board of four members, Jesper Saxgren, Anne Weber Carlsen, Jeppe Graugaard and Aslaug Færch Johnsen, in collaboration with an Advisory Council consisting of Lone Belling, Rune Engelbreth Larsen, Jacob Rask, Skye Jin Mortensen, Kåre Birk, Michael Paulsen and Theis Scherfig. Jesper Saxgren
Jesper has more than 40 years of experience as a project developer, teacher and consultant in the areas of environment/ecology/permaculture, project development, education/public information and international project work.
Anne Weber Carlsen
Anne works with regenerative management and organizational development in the company Human by Nature. She has many years of experience as a manager, consultant and facilitator.
Jeppe Graugaard
Jeppe has many years of experience as a teacher from a wide range of contexts and has, among other things, created an open source crash course in climate change. As a researcher, he has an environmental background with an MSc Climate Change and a PhD in grassroots innovation.
Aslaug Faerch Johnsen
Aslaug is a visionary social entrepreneur with a background as a clothing designer and artist. For her, Himmelbjerggården is a life project - the result of many years of research in relation to being an active co-creator of sustainable development.

YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN SEVERAL WAYS

With a supporting membership in the association EarthWays if you help our work on the way, you get access to a number of member benefits and become part of a growing network of people who work with regeneration in practice.

We offer memberships to companies that want to take green shortcuts to greater organizational and financial sustainability.

As a grassroots organization you can become a friendship association and, among other things, get the opportunity to use our facilities at Himmelbjerggården.

We collaborate with educational and cultural institutions on specific projects based on regeneration and nature-based education.
